Updated guidance for parents and carers

We have updated our guidance for parents and carers on what they need to know about early years providers, schools and colleges during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This update provides information on school admission appeals, entry tests for selective schools, and exams and assessments in the autumn term.

We have also provided further information on the use of face coverings in schools and links to online resources that are available to help parents, carers and children with their mental health and wellbeing.

Dear Parents/Carers

Further to the letter of the 16th July 2020 and recent Government guidance,We would like to now confirm arrangements for the return of students during the week beginning Monday 7th September.  You will appreciate that the programme set out below is to enable a smooth re-integration of all year groups and to re-establish school routines for your son/daughter. I wanted to reassure parents and students that all arrangements for teaching and learning, eating arrangements and social time are to keep all members of our community safe. On their first day, all students will spend time with their tutors to go through timetables and food will be available to purchase for all year groups.
