BBC Children in Need Appeal Week

As you may already know, Monday 13 November is the start of this year's BBC Children in Need Appeal Week. Our school is excited to be joining with many others around the UK to participate in the fundraising programme, the

Big BBC Children in Need Spotacular, with Lloyds Bank.

The Big Spotacular will help your child learn about the lives of disadvantaged children across the whole of the UK, whilst developing skills like communication, teamwork and decision-making. Lloyds Bank is supporting BBC Children in Need this year with lots of different tools and resources to help us with our fundraising, including lesson plans and videos.

Chislehurst School for Girls have been recognised as one of the leading school fundraisers in our local area and this year we will be taking part in spotty-themed fundraising activities, such as wear something yellow or spotty for the day (on Friday 17 November - £1 to participate), merchandise sales and sponsored challenges.

We need your help!

Pudsey has set us a challenge.  Time is running out to use up those round pounds of yours – they will be out of circulation after the 15th October 2017.  We would like for you to get involved and hunt down your round pounds and send them in to us to support BBC Children in Need.

You can help us make this a memorable event that raises as much money as possible, by supporting the fundraising activities in our school.

We are aiming to raise even more this year to support disadvantaged young people across the UK.

Let’s make a big difference to the lives of children in the UK.

Thank you for your continued support.
