Tourism
The Tourism course is a blend of UK and Worldwide studies of the Tourism industry.
It studies a range of jobs and opportunities within the sector, different types of locations, why people choose to go there and what motivates them. It also looks at the environmental impact of the sector and how sustainable it is and how it changes and responds to global events.
This could lead on to a degree in Tourism or related subjects at university such as marketing or event planning. It can also lead into jobs within the sector such as working at a travel company, airline, hotel or restaurant businesses or as a holiday rep.
