Sixth Form Courses: Choosing Your Courses
We offer a wide range of academic A levels and three subjects as vocational courses. You will be required to choose 3 subjects to study over the two years you are with us.
Students studying academic A levels have assessment mainly by exam at the end of the course, with other types of assessment used only where they need to test essential skills. Students with a strong academic background (APS 7.5+) may be offered a four A level pathway.
Any of the vocational courses offered can be studied over two years alongside two A levels. The vocational courses include exams and coursework elements.
A Level courses are the stepping stone for entry to university, college, apprenticeships (level 4 or above), start of a professional career.
Choosing your sixth form courses is a crucial decision that can shape your future. You should consider your interests and abilities when making your choice. Studying subjects that you enjoy and excel at, will help you achieve better grades, develop your skills and prepare you for higher education or employment.
