Chair Of Governors
Mr Jatin Mehta (Chair): 24 March 2018 to 24 March 2022
I am Governor on the Resources Committee and was also recently appointed as Chair. I am a Qualified Management Accountant and am employed by one of the Big 4 in the Professional Services and Consulting industry, and work alongside organisations across most industries.
I have lived in various parts of the UK and have also previously been on a long-term secondment in South-East Asia. I have settled in Chislehurst/Bromley over the last 10 years with my family, and our two young children are currently at Primary School in the area. I am keen on DIY and am also learning more gardening in my spare time.
Mr Luke Picknett: 12th December 2016 to 11th December 2020
I am an Appointed Governor and sit on the Resources Committee, as well as the Personnel Committee. In my professional life, I am a Management Consultant at Deloitte, working primarily within the Public Sector. Outside of work, I am a keen runner and have completed three marathons, with plans for more on the horizon.
Mr Peter Frampton
I sit on the Resources Committees as an appointed governor. I have lived in Bromley since 2009 and am now the proud father of two young boys who are just beginning their school adventures. I work in Human Resources at HSBC and will work with my colleagues on the Governing Board to ensure that the school goes from strength to strength,
Mrs Joyce Montegard - 9th July 2019 - 9th July 2023
Miss E Downes
Miss Liz Mensah: 6th December 2016 to 5th December 2020
I am currently the Acting Assistant Head with an oversight of pupil premium students and am also the Head of Faculty for Social Communications. I have been a teacher at Chislehurst School for Girls since 2008 and this is the second time that I have been a staff governor. I am fully committed to the vision at our school which is that every student aims high and has the chance to be the very best versions of themselves.
Mrs K J Raven, Headmistress
I have been the Head of Chislehurst School for Girls since January 1992 and a Governor for all of that period. In this capacity, I am the ‘Chief Executive’ and the leading professional advisor to the Governing Body. I value most highly the support and challenge provided by our excellent Governors. Together, we ensure that we deliver the very best for the young people in our care.
Mrs Sheryl Orchard (Vice-Chair) 1st September 2016 - 31st August 2020
I was elected as a Parent Governor in Autumn 2016. I am a mother of two girls, the eldest of which is currently in Year 9 at Chislehurst School for Girls and the youngest is still at primary school. I currently work alongside my husband, running our Gas Safe Installation/Plumbing business, but, prior to having our two daughters, I worked for a well-known large fashion retailer. There I acquired over 15 years’ retail management experience. I managed and developed a successful brand production team. I was responsible for the production/buying of all Internal Marketing requirements and managed a budget of £13 million; from taking and deciphering briefs, through to purchasing, production, logistics, store evaluation and store customer care for over 2,500 retail outlets in multiple brands/sides/partners and countries. I have also worked in numerous part-time roles whilst my daughters were very young, i.e. using my transferable skills working within the Fashion Retail Recruitment sector as a Researcher/Head-hunter for high-end brands. Plus I’ve also worked for a local Estate Agent as a Negotiator. We are a very keen swimming family and if I’m not taking my two daughters training and attending various Galas, you will find me volunteering at our local swimming club. I think it’s really important that whatever your child is into, whatever level of ability your child has, we as parents support them as much as possible. That’s why I am putting my voice and experience to use to assist the school, and in doing so helping all of our daughters.
Miss Dawn Wakefield
I have 2 daughters, one at Chislehurst School for Girls and the other is at primary school. I work full time as a Complaints Manager for an insurance company. In my limited spare time, I enjoy running, having completed the London Marathon once, and long walks in the local area.
